The Seasons of Life

According to the calendar, we're told that Thursday was the first day of a new season. Life is full of seasons, and I'm not talking about just winter, spring, summer, and fall.

Winter has officially descended on Texas, though we had quite the memorable fall with the most snowfall I’ve ever seen here.

Life is full of seasons, and I’m not talking about just winter, spring, summer, and fall.

Being a teenager is a season.

Middle age is one, too.

Retirement.

Tax seasons.

Trials have their seasons.

Even hurricanes have their seasons.

Some seasons we enjoy like I feel during the fall.
But other seasons we’re eager to get through quickly.

It’s easy to grow impatient and try to force our way through the season faster than God intended.

But remember, the things that you think will last forever, won’t, simply because all seasons must eventually come to an end.

All in His good time.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: – Ecclesiastes 3:1
